Hebe Cox was a Fellow of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and a maker of embroidered pictures and hangings and church and gold work, with one man shows at the Craft Centre and Foyles Gallery in London. She published books on embroidery: ‘Simple Embroidery Design’ (Studio), ‘Embroidery Technique and Design’ (Dryad), and ‘Canvas Embroidery’ (Mills & Boon).
