Printed at Grafikwerkstatt Hans Kähler, Hamburg and published by Griffelkunst Vereinigung, Hamburg in an edition of 500, one of which is in the collection of Tate (The Tate Gallery 1980-82: Illustrated Catalogue of Acquisitions, London 1984 through the Friends of the Tate 1980, no.188). 

The title of the work is a nod to fellow abstract artists, Karel Appel (1921-2006) and Alexander Calder (1898-1976).
